In the fall of 2001 Riverview Baptist Bible Institute began its first set of classes using a curriculum developed by its founder, Dr. Gordon Robson. RBBI was established with the purpose of training godly men to become pastors, evangelists, missionaries, church planters, youth workers, and knowledgeable laymen. Since its inception, RBBI has also helped prepare Christian women to serve the Lord in the home, as a support to their husband, and as fulltime servants. RBBI also trains people in soul winning, to take the gospel to a lost and dying world.

The key verse of RBBI is 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also.” RBBI currently offers an Associate of Ministry degree and several Bachelor’s Degrees, including Degrees in Korean Ministries and Elementary Christian Education. Other Degrees can be individually customized to better prepare the student to fulfill God’s calling. RBBI utilizes the 1611 King James Bible for all class study.

RBBI offers both academic and character development courses to train individuals whose main desire is to serve the Lord, either in a full-time capacity or as a godly layperson. Our prayer is that this training will motivate them to serve others in their chosen field of ministry.

Bible believing Churches today are in desperate need of trained Christian workers that can help their church and Pastor in carrying out the Great Commission. We desire students to enroll and complete requirements for graduation in three years in our Associate Degree of Ministry on-campus so that the trained worker could be working full time ministry upon graduation. Many desiring an Independent Baptist education are not able to attend our on-campus classes. For these students we have created quality online classes. A student wishing to audit a class may do so at the cost of materials.
